Gimli
This constituency is located on western shore of Lake Winnipeg and goes south of the lake almost as far as Winnipeg. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 20,200. The constituency has been expanded to include the Hecla / Grindstone Provincial Park, formerly part of the Interlake constituency. It no longer includes the portion just north of Winnipeg, which is now part of St. Paul. This area was previously represented by Peter Bjornson (New Democratic Party) in Gimli since 2003, and by Tom Nevakshonoff (New Democratic Party) in the Interlake since 1999.
