This constituency is located in the northeast corner of Winnipeg. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 20,900. It is largely unchanged from the previous constituency of the same name. It no longer includes the portion south of Douglas Ave between Rothesay Street and Raleigh Street or the portion south of Chief Peguis Trail west of Henderson Hwy. This area was previously represented by Bonnie Mitchelson (Progressive Conservative Party) who was first elected in 1986.
