Questionnaire Response
Kurt Penner - River East
Why did you decide to run in the 2011 Manitoba election?
My mother struggled with polio before there was universal health care. I saw that our government must help people. I want to continue the NDP’s positive work fighting for healthcare.
What experience will you bring to compliment your role as MLA?
My family has deep roots in this area. I’m a graduate of MBCI. I want to be a positive voice for River East, to help people and bring them together.
Is there anything in particular you would like to change in our province? In your electoral division?
Health comes first. It’s the foundation. Our community has seniors and young families. Helping them get the health care they need is the top priority for me and the NDP.
