Fort Richmond

This constituency is located in the south central portion of Winnipeg. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 20,800. It is a new constituency created from the former Fort Garry and St. Norbert constituencies. The west boundary is along the CNR rail line and Pembina Hwy to the south of Newdale Ave. The north boundary is Chevrier Blvd and Crescent Drive as far east as South Drive. The south boundary is the perimeter and the west boundary is the Red River. This area was previously represented by Marilyn Brick (New Democratic Party) in St. Norbert since 2003 and by Kerri Irvin-Ross (New Democratic Party) in Fort Garry since 2003.
