Questionnaire Response

Ludolf Grollé - St. Paul

Why did you decide to run in the 2011 Manitoba election?

To give back to the place and people I share this space with, and to try to serve and give of myself to make a difference.

What experience will you bring to compliment your role as MLA?

I bring a new and fresh outlook - but very little experience as a politician - and a lot of business development experience.

Is there anything in particular you would like to change in our province? In your electoral division?

I would love to help champion an Arts Platform for the Province. In my electoral division I would like to help fulfill the wants and needs of the community, more especially in building a community centre which might serve to meet a variety of needs such as day care, arts programs, sports programs and more.

What is one thing you stand for that is not a part of your political party's platform?

Charitable organisations and their role in shaping the community - while perhaps included in Arts & Culture there seem to be no specific areas being highlighted. I do feel, as with A&C a dialogue should be further developed between government and all the Charitable Organisations within the province.

Do you have any other comments regarding your candidacy?

While it appears that any party we do not stand for are referred to as "opponents" we need to work together and I am very much for a collaborative approach and see no reason why I am not able to have the same view as my counterpart in other parties on certain issues.

What is your favourite location in the electoral division you are currently a candidate for?

The site of my new home.
