Elmwood

This constituency is located in the northeast portion of Winnipeg. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 20,800. The new boundary to the north has been retracted from Oakland Ave to Mossdale Ave and Dunbeath Ave. The eastern boundary has extended from Watt Street to Raleigh Street into what was formerly in Concordia and Rossmere. This area was previously represented by Bill Blaikie (New Democratic Party) in Elmwood since 2009; by Matt Wiebe (New Democratic Party) in Concordia since 2010; and by Erna Braun (New Democratic Party) in Rossmere since 2007.
