This constituency is located in the south central portion of Manitoba. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 19,900. It is largely unchanged from the previous constituency except that it no longer includes the portion between Grand Beach and Victoria Beach. This area has been represented by Greg Dewar (New Democratic Party) who was first elected in 1990.
