St. Vital
This constituency is located in the southeast portion of Winnipeg. The population of the constituency in 2008 was 20,900. The new St. Vital boundary now extends southward to Meadowood Drive instead of Bishop Grandin Boulevard. This area was formerly part of Riel. The west boundary now is Dunkirk Drive and Dakota Street to the south, and it no longer includes Kingston Row, which is now in Riel. This area was previously represented by Nancy Allan (New Democratic Party) in St. Vital since 1999, and by Christine Melnick (New Democratic Party) in Riel since 2003.
