Why did you decide to run in the 2011 Manitoba election?

My past experience in municipal politics created a passion to help people overcome issues they personally cannot deal with. I want to continue Rosann Wowchuk's vision for a better future for the constituency. ‬‬‬

What experience will you bring to compliment your role as MLA?

I am currently the Reeve of Mossey River and previously was a councillor. I have 25 years experience as a mixed farmer. I am chairperson of the Manitoba Conservation District Association, which focuses on improving partnerships between provincial/municipal governments & ratepayers.

Is there anything in particular you would like to change in our province? In your electoral division?

Preserving and expanding health care, child care, as well as education and training opportunities. Continuing to create more affordable housing. I want to create a strong relationship with the constituents of Swan River.
